Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible
Aetheronline operates Aether, an independent AION 2 service portal. For privacy questions or requests, contact yaydim.pazarlama@gmail.com. Aether is not affiliated with NCSOFT or the AION 2 publisher.
2. Information we handle
- Account access: email address, account role, sign-in token hashes, session identifiers and security timestamps. Tokens expire after 10 minutes; server sessions stop authorizing after 7 days.
- Google sign-in: verified email and sign-in information needed to authenticate an account through Supabase Auth and Google.
- Service requests and orders: contact email, order reference, character name, game region and server, class, item level, requested goal, notes, quote, status and related timestamps.
- Support messages: text sent in a private one-to-one conversation, sender role and message timestamps. A customer can message only the Aether site owner; customer-to-customer messaging is not available. Guest access uses the private guest order link.
- Order records: the version of the Terms and Privacy Notice accepted and the time of acceptance.
- Security: a hashed network identifier and request counters used to limit repeated sign-in and order requests.
3. Why we use this information
We use information to respond to a service or quote request, create and secure accounts, manage orders, provide customer support, prevent abuse, keep required records and establish or defend legal claims. Where applicable, processing is based on steps requested before an order, providing the requested service, legal obligations, legitimate interests in securing the portal, or consent when required by law.
4. Service providers and payments
Cloudflare hosts the portal and its database. Supabase Auth and Google support Google sign-in. Transactional email can be sent through Brevo or Resend when configured; neither sender is active yet, so email sign-in and order notices are currently unavailable. Card and cryptocurrency payments are currently disabled; iyzico and BTCPay are not receiving payment data through this site.
The site also loads some AION 2 artwork and web fonts from their source hosts. Those hosts may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, when those resources load.
5. International processing
Our hosting and sign-in providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. We use these providers only to operate the portal and authentication. Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for an international transfer, those safeguards must be in place before the relevant processing is enabled.
6. Storage and retention
We keep account and order information while it is needed to provide the portal, handle a request or order, meet legal recordkeeping duties, or resolve a dispute. Expired sign-in tokens and sessions cannot be used to access an account. Security counters contain a hashed network identifier and are used for rate limiting. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to legal retention duties.
7. Cookies and local preview data
The hosted portal uses a strictly necessary, secure session cookie. Google sign-in may use temporary authentication data during the sign-in flow. The local preview stores demo account and order details in the browser until that browser storage is cleared. This build does not include advertising or analytics trackers.
8. Your privacy requests
You may contact us to ask what account or order information we hold, request correction or deletion where available, or raise another privacy concern. Include your order reference if relevant, and do not send passwords, game login codes or payment credentials. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm that a request relates to you. If the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law applies, you may also exercise the rights provided by that law and contact the Personal Data Protection Authority.
